AI, data, and compliance work, delivered to a written scope
Orionid Systems is an IT consultancy for state and local agencies, federal agencies and prime contractors, and regulated commercial clients. We agree the scope in writing, map the work to the controls you are assessed against, and hand over evidence you can file.

Capabilities
Five areas of work. Each starts with an assessment you can buy on its own.
Artificial intelligence
Practical AI for regulated settings: use-case review, search and assistants built on your own documents, and the governance records that go with them.
Typical work: AI use-case and risk review; retrieval-based search over internal documents; evaluation and monitoring plans.
Data engineering
Pipelines, warehouses, and data quality checks on cloud platforms, documented so your staff can run them after we leave.
Typical work: source-to-report pipelines; data quality rules and alerts; handover documentation and training.
Database migration
Moves between database engines or hosting environments, planned around your cutover window and tested before it happens.
Typical work: database inventory and dependency map; schema and data conversion; parallel run, cutover plan, and rollback plan.
Cybersecurity and compliance
Control mapping, gap assessments, and evidence collection against the frameworks you answer to. We support your authorization or audit; we do not issue it.
Typical work: NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-171 mapping; HIPAA Security Rule and PCI DSS gap assessments; system security plan drafting support.
Other IT projects
Cloud migration, systems integration, and contact center platform work. If the project has a clear scope, ask.
